Anaheim lake at it's same old games AGAIN

Read below. Wasnt last week the biggest ever? I honestly think they up their numbers by 1lb and than they say its the biggest ever, because the numbers sound like the same old numbers to me... You decide...

BIG NEWS – ANAHEIM LAKE & CORONA LAKE
(JULY 24, 2004)

http://www.fishinglakes.com

NOW HERE'S THE BIG NEWS--------------Fishing has been great. Anaheim Lake has cranked out Catfish up to 21 pounds and dozens over 10 pounds. Thomas Hilliard landed a 21 pound Channel Cat using the M & M combo of a marshmallow and mealworm. Kyle Walker bagged a 17 pound Cat, Danny Carillo 16 1/2 pounds and Kenny Mitchell caught a 16 pound Channel Cat. Fishermen fishing the 24 hour weekend passes have been taking 15 fish stringers weighing in at 40 to 75 pounds of fine eating Channel Catfish.

CORONA LAKE------------Has been cranking out some great catches of Trophy Cats and huge heavy 5 to 15 pound stringers of fish. Ramon Nunnez of Riverside landed a 15 1/2 pound Cat, Charley Lupin of Upland weighed in two Cats, one at 15 1/2 pounds, the other at 9 3/4 pounds, Larry Bellberry of San Pedro 13 pounds. But that's not all, Anglers fishing for other game fish are finding a wide open bite on large mouth Bass, Crappie and Blue Gill.

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL--------------August 5, 6, 7 & 8th will be the biggest stocking of Huge Trophy Cats this entire Season. It is truly the BIG CATFISH EVENT OF THE SEASON. We were able to purchase the entire brood stock inventory of a Northern California Cat Fish Producer and his truck will arrive late Wednesday night, August 4th. The whole truck, that's right, the whole truck will be loaded with nothing but huge Trophy Cats for the Big Fish Event of the Season, beginning Thursday, August 5th, through Sunday, August 8th. DON’T MISS THIS ONE, BE THERE!!

Remember, we have 24 hour fishing every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at Anaheim Lake, and Friday and Saturday only at Corona Lake. Dad pays one $40.00 fee, he gets a 15 fish limit and Mom and up to 3 Kids 12 and under get in free. Mom and the Kids can fish free and help Dad get his 15 fish limit. There is no charge for camping, that's free too. So pack up the whole family for some quality family fun, great fishing and enjoy the cool summer night’s barbequing hot dogs, hamburgers and ham and eggs in the morning.

IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT

DON'T MISS IT----------------------BE THERE!!!

LOL. Guys you are a trip. Irvine the spot right now so you know you will catch there. Its only going to get better. You gots to give it to Sarl, Anaheim, and Corona, they know how to place adds and give a good punch line for events. I have not fished there all cat season. Strickly Irvine and a few upcoming trips for flatheads in the river and canals in the next few weeks. I did try Hesperia once and will try again for their twilight.

How was the Hesperia trip Brian? Irvine is the spot and usually is always the spot. I do give props to SARL/Anaheim/Corona staff for putting on a good effort to promote their lakes. However, they still lie to get the $.

Hey Bluehunter how long did it take you to get there? Since we are in the same city it will give me an idea of whether to drive to Irvine or Hesperia
