caught it while fishing on the betty-o , soewhere past malibu.

Without the fins being spread, It's hard to tell, Halfmoon Perch.

I think if you don't find out what it is and no one else has a clue you get to name it, maybe even after yourself for he who discovered it.

How was your trip on the betty-o? My work does repairs for them and I was thinking of going out with them sometime. Did you go with out with Captain Mike?

ive never seen a halfmoon like that but it could be a perch, but not halfmoon.

answering vagabond, i guess that the fish is now called chaim (cool) and i haevnt been on the betty o or new del mar in a long time, and i believe the captain was mike.
