Sand and Sun water shoes

I just purchased a pair of Sand and Sun water shoes for $11 to apply to my waders. I hope to have them by next weekends for a product review soon.

These should make a good wader shoe alternative.

ummm...
I am not sure that those are going to work so well, they will not keep out any sand or gravel and they will pull off the first time you hit mud. These are what I use and they have worked good so far, they are not made for walking on slipery rocks but they are a lot cheaper than real wade boots.

Yah, I knoticed those after I puchased the shoes. Go figure. I might just keep the water shoes for summer use and purchase the basspros. I go with shoes ever since I found glass and hooks drifting ashore.

I have something like FishSlayer's boots. The neoprene is comfy for long walks, keeps you warm, and has drain holes on the side so when you're back on the beach they drain out.

Dudes check this out http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=4875649 $16.00 wadeing boots @ WalMart. You can't beat that and the cool thing is that you can use a WalMart gift card to order stuff online. I think with shipping and handleing it comes out to $22.00. I'm going to order a pair this Friday when I get paid of and they got waders for $50.00 right now. I heart WalMart!!!!!

Felt is better for slippery rocks! I use boots right now that are cleated and their good for mud but once I step onto rocks I got to slow down.

When ordering the Bass pro ones, what size do you go with? Is it good to go one size up from your shoe size to compensate for the wader feet? Ive got a gift card waiting to be spent.

It depends on how many pairs of socks you are going to be wearing...
When I am tubing a very cold water lake I went up a couple of sizes so that I can fit several pairs of thick socks under them. When I am just wading a bit and not worried about getting cold I only went up a 1/2 size to allow for the neoprene.
