Memorial Day weekend???

Well, once I started thinkng about the Sierras it got me rolling...
Who is up for a trip to the Bishop area Memorial weekend and where should we camp or stay?
I can try to get reservations at Twin Lakes again... or we can save me a lot of running around at the last minute by just going straight to Mill Pond.

I remember the last attempt at Twin lakes Memorial Day weekend...it was freezing. But I feel you, I was thinking about when I can go to the Sierras again the other day too.

You know I'm in! We'll have to figure out which campgrounds will actually be open that early. I don't mind Mill Pond and it's actually a really convenient base camp to fish either the Bishop area lakes or up the mountain in Mammoth.

We should probably make reservations for at least a couple campgrounds in the next couple weeks. Spots seem to fill up quick, especially for the holiday weekends.

The BAD news is that I have tried to call Brown's Millpond campground every day this week with no answer!
The GOOD news is that most of the other camp grounds in the area are still showing "available", I'm thinking maybe Convict? (or should I keep looking further South)

A friend of mine is talking about renting a cabin at Tom's place and fishing Crowley...I'll have to find out how many people a cabin can hold...

OK, one way or another I am making reservations at some campground this week!
I need to know how many spaces to reserve to who all is thinking of going? I need a head count as well as a tent and vehicle count.
