My job
I have worked on sport boats most of my life I started working at age 11 as a deckhand. I have been a deckhand, cook and a captain. I had a real land job for about six months but just could not handle being away from the ocean.
Now I am a stay at home dad / relief captain. I only work when they need some one to fill in, at least till my daughter starts pre-school.

I was just wondering if you were close to a landing.
I know quite a few captains, I could maybe get you a summer job, or you can be a pinhead and fish for free, just help out and clean the boat on the way in. But I do not know too many past Newport.....I'll ask around if you are interested.

yea i would love too! Depends where though..... what areas were u thinking about Capt? If possible, Dana Point would be easiest for me. As you probably already know, im only 14, is that a problem?

I will try to find some one in Dana Point that needs help. Being 14 should not be a problem as long as you can get a ride. I had to do the same thing.
