San Juan Worms Scented?

i was wondering if anyone uses scents on there san juan worms?
or if anyone thinks it would help when striping line to intise the trout more.

I've heard that Mark puts pieces of grubs, and worms on his flies, and has used chum when fly fishing.

I put scents on EVERYTHING!
flys, nymphs, spoons, spinners you name it....

I had a friend that used to scent his flies...now he either doesn't admit it or he doesn't do it.

Do what you want, just don't tell anyone except us

Fly fishing is pretty much visual...just don't smoke and then handle flies. The visual part is why you have to set the hook quickly, the trout usually realizes right away that something is wrong and spits the hook.
