What size hooks and weights?

Going to be fishing for albacore this weekend. What size hooks and weights do I need to bring? Also, do you use flouro leader for tuna?

i would take some hooks from a number two to a 3/0 and all you need is some plain mustad bronze hookes. then for weights get some 1/8 ounce to some two ounce in sliders then to go along with the sliders bring some clear carolina keepers to hold the weight about a foot above the hook. then bring some 3 to 6 ounce torpedo sinkers if the fish are really deep but more than likelly you wont need them.but if you can get the sinkers that are cromed because tuna are attracted to flash

Flurocarbon would be a good idea. Its very good line. If I were you, I would actually buy a whole spool of flurocarbon, and just use that on ur reel.

you know what is better and even clearer than flouro is the purple igfa class maxama alot of the people who fish for the record size tuna use this line because it is clearer and more flexable than flouro
