Question for Fishing at SARL - California Fishing

I wanna go to SARL for some trout fishing. Ive never been there before. Whats the best bait for rainbow, and lightning trout? Where is the best place to fish?
Also, what is the maximum age limit to get a child permit at the lake?

Any additional thoughts would help. Thanks

Can anyone send me or tell me of a place where i can get a DETAILED map of SARL with all of the main fishing spots on it?

Fishing from shore I have always had good luck at the boat docks, or to the right of them by the corner. In a tube I like to fish the spill way. Little red and white mini-jigs have been my best bait.

I think the Jr age limit is 12 or 13 not to sure on that though.
