Did SARL buy LNL????? - California Fishing

If you are all familiar with Laguna Niguel Lake, and visit their website frequently, you would know they havent updated their site since trout season. (4/5- 3+ months). I was talking to my friend Chris, and he told me that he thinks that LNL was bought out by SARL! Is this true?? I REALLY hope this is not. I'm gonna email Rick Mendoza and ask him.

NO THEY DID NOT!!! but they almost did...at the last minute the county renewed Rick Mendoza's contract for another 10 years I think. If Irvine lake or S.A.R.L. had won the contract I would have never fished the place again. I love L.N.L. and I hate S.A.R.L. and Irvine Lake.

I'm with you rreck, i LOVE LNL, although i dont think Irvine is as bad as SARL. If you ever want to fish LNL with me rreck, let me know, i live 3 min away! This saturday im going if u want to come. A lot of people from the board is going.

Well, i live 3 min away driving, but it takes a long time to walk lol. Besides, I dont have enough money to fish it everyday lol.

I love LNL but I dont fish it this time of year, it cost me the same to go out on a half day boat as it does to go to LNL and chase little bass and blue gill. I will be there almost every Thursday starting at the end of November for trout season however. But this time of year my moneys on the ocean, even when I am broke I can fish the harbor for free.BTW next trout season we should try and buy out their opening day float tube derby...
