Suisun Bay Report 11/15/06
SUISUN: Jordona Santiago of Martinez Bait & Tackle reported great
fishing this week. Not many sturgeon were reported to the store, but
limits are being had on the charter boats just beyond the east end of
the Mothball Fleet. Several private boaters were seen with sturgeon as
well. Grass and ghost shrimp, eel and salmon roe are the best baits to
have. The big stripers are now being caught at the Mothball Fleet up
through Garnet Point. Bullhead is best. The tides this weekend are best
from late afternoon to around 8 a.m.
Catching stripers were Chuck Collins of San Francisco (13.6, 22.8 and a
27.7 pounds) on bullhead at Buoy 2, Bob Woodruff of Nevada (41 inches,

of San Pablo (45 inches, 36.5 pounds) at Garnet Point on a bullhead,
Steve Clayton of Vacaville (31 pounds) at Seal Island on sardines, Don
Arima of Richmond (10 and 15 pounds) at Garnet Point on bullhead and

fleet on a bullhead.
