I've got the Huddleston quite some time ago and have used it many times since then. The bait has a nice profile, great paint job and has a great all around size to match most stocked trout. The vortex tail on the bait, gives it a kicking action at the slowest of retrieves. The bait also comes in 4 different Rate of Falls (ROF), ROF 0, ROF 5, ROF 12 and ROF 16. The ROF is the depth the bait sinks in 10 seconds, so the ROF 5 sinks 5 feet every 10 seconds while the ROF 16 sinks 16 feet per 10 seconds.
During the fishing of this bait, i have noticed that the paint job and the overall strength of the bait in general is good. after about 6 fish, my bait has two bite marks and is missing about half a square inch of paint near the top fin. the bait was also starting to tear slightly on the bottom but some glue fixed that right up. The unique tail design allows the bait to swim very slowly and with the slightest kick i've seen on any swimbait. This makes it look like a slow and drugged up stocker trout. unfortunately this makes it a little hard to fish at night or in dirty water when bass might rely on sound and water disturbance to find prey.
With amazing looks, and ability to fish really slowly, this bait is an essential for swimbait chuckers!
