No, but I've been caught in great weather, on a 23 foot flat bottom center console fisher with the side paneling detaching itself from the vessel, and water coming in like a sive, two hours out to sea on the back side of Santa Rosa island, calling in mayday on the radio to the Coast Guard.....does that count Geoff?

I haven't really been out in seas that were too rough. I remember an overnight charter that I went on to santa rosa a while back where the swells were up to 8ft I think. Adr was on that one with me. Not the kind of water you like if you get seasick...

On a 3 day trip on the searcher 3 years ago the water was rocking the whole time. As a mater of fact, I only fished one of those 3 days as I and many others was huged to the bed most of the time. Talk about miserable. The highlight was when we were hooked up as that took the attention off of the wind and choppy waters, but when it was dead and no hookups, which was most of the trip, we were in the bed.LOL
