Irvine Lake Trout - California Fishing

I know they're stocking trout this friday 10/27. I'm thinking going there with my kayak the following day saturday the 28. Has anyone fished there last year on openning days and how was it?

I heard you got a kayak.Why no post. We need to get together for some fishing from the kayak.PM vagabond I think he goes to Irvine Lake all the time. He has a kayak too.

I've never had a good day of fishing on opening days at lakes I dont why maybe its a curse on me, I always do good like 1 week after the grand openings good luck though.

Yeah Cashe, paid for in full but it's still sitting at malibu kayak store

The roof rack I also paid for is not all here yet

some part had to be special order because themake andmodel of my car. but I'm borrow a friend truck to pick it this friday. oh yeah we should get together a fish on day

I missed the opening last weekend since I was at the street legal drags up at Fontucky but from what I hear it was insanely packed at Irvine anyways.

So I am thinking of going there Saturday from open to noonish and fish around shore with lures and jigs. I was going to Yak it but the lake has receded so much I don't think taking the yak there is necessary.

If any of you like to meet up there just send me a pm or post here and I'll see you there. If not I'll just rough it alone! with cougers stalking me from the brush as I happily fish with my back to them
