Since the water level at Toledo Bend is so low, my dad decided to hit the river below the dam on Friday. He caught several spotted bass, in the 1-3 lb range, using minnow immitations and twin tail grubs. The colors of choice were silver foil and pumpkin pepper. Spots were biting really well on both sides of the river. No stripers or LMB made an appearance.
Now if I could just get my dad to use a computer, he could write his own reports.

Just kidding, dad.
