Trolley Rig

you think a trolly rig like this one would work for non-salmon fish species? I was thinking WSB, Bonita, Cudas and other topwater fish and fishing from piers.

yeah but there is to many knots to break and to much jewelry for my taste and you can do the same thing with a 3 way swivel

well the best part of this rig is you cast the 4-6 ounce weight as far as you can, then snap on the bobber and chovie and let it slide down, this way it goes farther away, and you put less strain on your other knots while casting.

you put stress on the sinker knot and then there is 3 other knots to worry about
