A rattle snake. I was standing on a rock casting for bass, the lure was hanging down below the rock I was standing on. The snake was hiding under the rock. He struck at my lure and I hooked him. I cut the line and let him keep the lure.

speaking of birds, I hate gulls!!! They bug!! I'm an animal lover to the bone, but those bastards bug the crap out of me. On charters, on the way back during cleaning and filleting, we take Sardines, put half smoked, lit cigarettes in thier mouths, toss them in the air and watch the sea gulls discover the difference!!
