Millionaire vs. Catala
I am debating between buying these two reels. Daiwa Millionaire and the Shimano Catala. I was wondering which reel you guys prefer, and which one is better quality. Thanks.

If you want to spend the $80 + for the catala, I would buy something better like the Abu Garcia Ambassadeur EON. You can get them on sale for $80. You could get the millionaire for around $50 and that would be a good reel for the money. You just have to decide how much money you're willing to spend.

i myself had to choose between a catala and a millionare, buy a catala, it has no plastic parts, is more durable and has stronger gears.
