Los Alimitos Bay 6-27 Night Fishing

Got off to a late start last night and had problems at the launch, just getting in, as it wouldn't take our money. Finally got some quarters and got in. After launching we got to our spot about 10:30 and we fished till 2:30.

As far as a fish count goes. We were fishing for Bat Rays. I got 5 ba t rays to 12 # 12oz, and Ricks biggest was around 11 pounds. I also caught one sand bass on a 3" big hammer, and also got a shovel nose, and one eel, which were on squid. I also lost a bat ray about 25 pounds when it got wrapped around the anchor. As usual we fish the bat rays light! We use either 6 or 8 pound test, and get some GREAT fights!

We'll be going out next friday and I will make sure to take some pictures.
