Newport skiff fishing???
I am looking for one or two guys to rent a skiff with me out of Davey's locker on Thursday the 8th of July...any one interested???

A skiff and party boats are VERY different cst. A skiff is a LITTLE boat that can only hold a few people, and is really only used inside harbors and in calm water.

didnt even have to talk to me about it lol, im up for it if nothing comes up. how do ya think this thing would do at the mouth of the bay, im thinking batrays

It would be awesome for bat rays, but Rreck has a cool way of fishing the spotties in the back bay. That's the way to do it!

Spotties and Halibutt in the back bay is correct, if you hook up with a two hundred pound bat ray near the harbor mouth you will quickly find yourself towed outside the harbor. I have a new reel coming from Cabela's that I hope will be here by next week, I cant fish this Thursday due to Spider-man, um I mean a family emergency.

This will have to be pushed back to Thursday July 15, in order to go to the Kern river on the 10th I had to switch shifts with a guy at work and now I am working Thursday...sorry dudes.

Normally I would go on a Thursday but I am working overtime the rest of this month and my days off are in flux...have fun

The only thing better than fishing...VEGAS! I think I will take my nephew to Laguna Niguel for some bass and bluegill instead...
