Newport Landing afternoon half day - California Fishing

VERY SLOW and dissapointing!, rough seas and slow Sandbass...

I am sorry to hear that. I planned on going out, but everybody bailed on me. I think the bass have spawned and just got nailed to hard too fast. I called newport to see their numbers for the twilight last night. Their response? "We don't have those counts posted" lol Sorry it sucked. You want to go to a twilight with everyone next thursday? As long as the counts go back up that is, or maybe a 3/4 day out of dana for cuda and bass?

Possibly next Friday, I got plans on Thursday with my buddy Peter and his girlfirend Mary Jane that I cant possibly change, there is the possibility that Harry and Otto might show up and cause a change in plans.(lol)

Yea I hear Peter catches fish just like flies...look out! (BTW even though I have not seen him in the previews the Lizard is rumored to make an appearance too)

Yup good ol doc conners is there, but I don't know if he becomes the lizard yet. It's kind of like Dr. Hank McCoy in Xmen. You see him, but he is not beast yet. Also going to be hard to see what they do with the lizard. Because conners is supposed to help him when he starts transforming into a spider with the recumbenator, but than he trys to help himself and voila, the lizard is born. For the third one I would like to see venom or carnage. They are showing jameson's son and the whole mary jane connection, so we could see wolf man... But venom would be AWESOME!

Yea...dont be supprised if thats the plot for part III, my fear is that they will get cheap and Venom will end up looking like Jar-Jar. On movietickets.com they actually said the Lizard was in this one, I am also hoping to eventually see some of the other classic Spider-man villans like Rhino, Electro, Dr. Doom etc., Doesnt Harry end up becomming the hob goblin?

Well, the lizard would probably be at the end, well I hope so anyway. I heard that Harry finds the backup glider and the performance enhancers and starts the transformation into the hob goblin. The only problem with Spiderman is I dont think he has many good villains as other comics. I mean "wolf man" isnt too original lol and the vulture is kind of weak. But carnage, venom (seeing spidey first use the suit would be REALLY cool) They mention eddie brock in the first one... He can go for awhile. Mary Jane and peter need to hook up finally in this one. I mean they probably have one or two more before they stop making them so they need to hook up well before than.

Now the sentinals in the next Xmen

and than apocalypse and the four horsemen in the 4th one (I get goose bumps lol) They just need to bring sabretooth back. Him and wolverine have way too much history for it to be done like that.

Well it was not looking good on the halfdays this week and then BAM!, limits of bass on the afternoon yesterday...I think maybe I will go after all. (Unless somebody wants to split a skiff rental that is)

I am going out on the afternoon half day Thursday out of Newport Landing, the counts were not great for Wednesday and the boats were kind of crowded but what the hell...its going to be my last fishing trip for the next three weeks because of up coming overtime at work so I guess I will take my chances.
