WA Trout Fishing

Hello all,

It has been a long time since my last post. It has also been a long time since I have been able to get out and fish. While up in Washington on vacation I made it over to my dad's lake house. It is located near Shelton and it's called Timberlakes. We started at about 9AM on trolled spoons with nightcrawlers. Right off the dock, BAM! I landed a 16 incher. For the rest of the day we managed consistant action. We forgot to bring pliers so we released everythng we could unhook and kept the ones that were not going to make it. We took a short break for lunch and hit the lake again with the barbs removed. Even then my dad managed to gut hook two. These fish must have been hungry. We ended the day with 17 fish combined (me with 8 and dad with 9). We took 7 fish home for dinner. I forgot how much I like trout fishing.
