When I am not fly fishing streams for rainbows, brown trout and cut-throats, I am cruising lakes, rivers and ponds in my 'belly boat'.
There is nothing more relaxing than floating around in a tube and hitting those hard to get to spots. Great for silent approach to spawning fish beds.
One of my favorites is finding the spawning sites of bluegills. Geeeez, I swear that pound for pound, the bluegill has to be the most aggressive and fightingest fish in the water. Those little rascals have worn me out on more than just one occation.
I don't want to take anything away from the bigger boys like trout, bass, salmon and the others because they do their fair damage also but as for as agility and pure might, the blugills surely hold their own.
