Need a Non-Boater for Cachuma Tournament This Weekend!
Hey guys,
I just got off the phone with JD (Castaic Bass Club President) and it looks like we have an odd number of people for the tournament this weekend so to avoid having a boat fish 3 people again, I'm going to take my boat on it's first tournament run! Only problem is I need a non-boater! I don't really want to fish it solo at this point. The tournament is a 2 day tournament (both Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19) at lake Cachuma in Santa Barbara County. You'll need to have bass gear and tackle and preferably know what you're doing  All I ask is you split gas with me on the way there and back as well as for the boat. Shouldn't be too much and I think we'll have a great time! Let me know if any of you are interested. Thanks! Also, the club rented out a large area of the campground so you'll need to bring a tent/sleeping bag.

Ok guys, still open. First person that can commit is in!
Forgot to mention - leaving on friday night, camping at Cachuma, tournament starts at 6am, on the water by 5:45 waiting for the start!

Good luck Jon. I woould have jumped on this but I have a fishing get together at Irvine Saturday night and then giving a seminar Sunday.
If you need some insiight on Cachuma, give me a call and I will ask Raymond for some professional info.
