Well it was still windy this weekend, and the fishing was tough! We tried trolling plastics for Striper but they were in deep water and we were fishing the shallows. So we switched to rapalas and started casting toward the banks. We hooked up with 9 largemouth all decent size and fun to catch. I guess it wasn't a wasted trip but I was looking forward to some stiper action. We are planning another trip in about 2 months and we'll see what happens then.

Thanks for the report. The wind makes fishing tough. It's good you were able to salvage the trip and hook up with some bass.

I split this report off from the last thread so people will be able to find it easier.
