Lake Charles, LA redfish and spotted trout
Talked to my brother, that lives in Lake Charles, earlier and he told me he has been slaying the reds and trout down there. This was good news, as Lake Charles was slammed by hurricane Rita less than a year ago. He has been catching reds over 10# for a couple months now and several trout in the 15" range. The fish he has been catching have come on chrome/blue rattle traps and soft plastics. Pretty cool to see the fish bounce back!

Love Lake Charles, Have ex inlaws and many friends there. Use to park my 5th wheel in Sam Huston Park at least a month each year. Miss Lake Charles alot more than the X.

I have caught many bass at Sam Huston Park. And a few nutria
 Beautiful area. Nice to see someone else that knows that area. Most of the fish my brother was catching were around the I-10 bridge area and south into the lake. |
