Often Capt. Butch Foster is asked about the origin of the name, "Yeah Right". When he decided to initiate a charter service he told his son; Capt. Chris Foster, about the plans and Chris replied, "Yeah Right". Therefore, with his reply, came the boat's name!

Aboard the "Yeah Right", a 28-foot MAKO sportfisher w/cabin, you are subject to hook most anything that swims in the ocean that is large enough and eats bait.

The "Yeah Right" is rigged and set-up to catch anything from flounder from the inshore reefs to blue marlin in the Gulfstream!! She is also one of the fastest charter boats on the east coast.
This means you will get there faster, you can stay later, so you can fish longer!!!!

Dolphinfish (Mahi-Mahi), King Mackerel(Kingfish), Atlantic Spanish Mackerel, Great Barracuda, Bluefish, False Albacore(Litlle Tunny), Atlantic Bonito, Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Cobia, Wahoo, various Shark species, African Pompano, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Atlantic Sailfish.

Targeted bottom species include, but are not limited to:

Black Sea Bass, Ringtails Spots, Knobbed Head Porgy, White Grunts, Silver Snapper, Vermillion Snapper , Amberjacks(Lesser and Greater), Scamp Grouper, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Speckled Hind Grouper, Strawberry Grouper, Flounder, Triggerfish, Fall season citation size Redfish(Drum), an occasional Tilefish and Hog Nose Snapper!!

CAPT. LESTER "BUTCH" FOSTER
has fished the ocean waters off north carolina since he was 10 years old. He has become well known in the area as one of the top offshore and inshore captains. His fishing ability has placed his fishing team in the top ten in the FALL BRAWL KING MACKERAL TOURNAMENT, and in the U S OPEN KING MACKERAL TOURNAMENT he has placed eleventh!!
He is a regular seminar speaker and instructor for BOATERS WORLD. His fishing reputation has caught the attention of some top sporting magazines in which he has done articles for. Capt. Butch loves to fish and he loves people, and as a down home, GOD fearing captain that hasn't forgotten where he came from, he's sure to put you on top of the catch of a life time!

As "first mate" to Capt. Butch Foster for many years, he has become quite the reputable offshore vessel Captain himself! He's been going out to sea on his family's boats since he was 5 years old and he's been piloting them since he was 10, literally! He has a love for sportfishing that radiates when he's out on the ocean, and loves to teach his passengers the finer points of fishing the Atlantic Ocean!

Both captains are USCG licensed, and also trained in all saftey techniques, as both are CPR and first aid certified to USCG regulations.

To all who haven't tried Capt. Butch and Yeah Right charters you don't know what your missing. We had the time of Our lives on 2-27-06. It was like fishing with friends you'd know all your life. From the time we got on the boat (which from what I could see and feel was top of the line in gear,safety, and over all fish finding equipment) to the stepping off. We were treated like old family friends. Capt. Chris was fun and a effective producer and teacher. He kidded around and made my father in law and I feel at home.

What else can be said about fishing sole mates except if I ever get within trying distance again I'll use Capt. Butch, Capt. Chris, and of course Boddie the fish slayer before I think about anyone else.


Don't take my word for it. Spend the time and money you won't be sorry. If they don't get you fish there are no fish to be got. Oh!! try the dog shark it's delicious grilled with wine, butter, and lemon.
