Ventura Surf Fishing
Went out with Joe to do some surf fishing up in Ventura. Started out throwing grubs at the pier and couldn't even get a cast out without getting tangled in seaweed. I've never seen that much seaweed in the water before and it made it impossible to fish. We packed it up and moved north up to the Emma Wood beach area. The waves were really big today and were going all the way up the beach onto the rocks by the road so that didn't work out very well. Anyway, we figured that was enough for today and went and got some sushi and beer. So at least we got to see some fish today! Final catch: ~20 sandcrabs
