Dana Wharf 3/4 day GREAT FISHING 5/30

I went out on the Dana Pride for some 3/4 day fishing. I brought my friend out, who has never really been fishing. Anyway, In the beggining of the day, it was WO on barracuda. I caught 3 barracuda during this time, and one ENORMOUS one that weighed 9 lbs. It would have easily won the jackpot, but unfortunately I didnt enter. We were using live sardines and anchovies to catch these. We used carolina rigs with bout 1/4 oz weight, and rubbercore weights that were 1 1/2 oz. Also, i threw out some chartruese skampis, and got A LOT of hits, but its hard to set the hook with those on barracudas. I also trolled one, and got hit.

Later in the day, we moved to a different spot, and now it was time to catch the sand bass. We caught them using 1 1/2 rubbercore weights slowly drifted out. ALso, flylining them was catching them. I tossed out some chartruese skampis tipped w/ squid and caught some big ones. My biggest sand bass was 3 1/2 lbs.

I took pictures, but my other computer isnt working, and i cant upload pics on this computer. When i get my internet back, i can post pictures.
