Questions regarding San Quentin Baja

Looking to head down Thursday morning - Hang till Monday am...

Want to Float the bay and nail some quality Halibut - Looking foir some recomendations on spots and inside knowledge on the bay if any one is willing to share...What else is this bay holding?

I am also looking to hire a boat and captain to make run for yellow tail and calicos and maybe the blue fin and albies will be near...

Do you have any one you would suggest me calling and hooking up with?

Old Mill has quite a few center consoles you can charter down there and the cost isnt to bad. You can also call Kelly Katain of K&M sport fishing. He really knows his #### but is expensive. The bay holds pretty much everything we have up here just much bigger. One thing they have that we dont have is black seabass. There are some big black seabass in the harbor. Be careful while driving around. The harbor is relatively shallow and people run aground all the time. Getting a guide is the best bet or going with someone who knows how to get out of the harbor. Also, the albies and blue fin arent there yet and a lot of captains arent even going out there. So far the begining of the season has been rather slow down there.
