Mammoth - Twin Lakes 5/26 - 5/29
Here's what we've got going on right now -
We have campsites 19, 21, and 29 - check out the attached pic of the campground.
People attending -
1. Jonathan (Wahoo!)
2. Heather
3. Russ (FishSlayer)
4. Harold (Local Rookie)
5. Tim ?
6. Yvonne
7. Kati
8. Amy
9. Jen
10. Sean (DementedFish)
11. Sean's Dad
12. Mr. Lara's Buddy
13. Ray (NulodPBall) ?
14. Tony (Tony"PltnmHooks"Z.) ?
15. Chris (CST) ?
If Heather does end up going, I won't be up there until early Saturday morning. Otherwise, I'll be leaving to go up there friday night after work. If Heather doesn't go, I have room for 1 person to go with me.
When are you guys going to leave and does anyone have room to carpool? Maybe we can all caravan up there as well.
I know Sean has volunteered his dad to do the cooking so maybe we could all chip in and have group dinners?
Last thing, what stuff can we share? I know we aren't going to need 10 different camp stoves up there. What else?
Am I missing anything?

I am planning to leave R.C. at 6:30PM and head out to the 15N... I think you are going to the 5N to get up there?
It sounds like we might need another site.

I'm taking the 5 to the 14 to the 395.
We can have 6 people per campsite for a total of 18 so we can fit everyone so far. I'm not sure if 4 of the people on the list are going or not.
Is Tim going for sure?

Yeah, 6 per site but only two tents per site unless no cares who they are sleeping with . Tim is still questionable. He did buy a bunch of stuff for floating and camping so I think he will. I need him to go so I can split gas with him.

I will be sleeping in the back of my truck so thats one less for you guys to share a tent with, I will also buy/bring four or five bundles of fire wood to share (for gods sakes someone bring some freakin matches this time!). I will also bring an axe, hatchet and saw for cutting the fire wood.
I will be bringing my own food as I am really finicky but if you guys are going to pitch in together dont forget to bring your trout cookin gear as well.
I have a single burner propane stove and a two burner Sterno (can heat) stove that I am bringing, I will have at least one electric/battery operated lantern and I may bring a propane one as well.
I will have a small spare tent with me if its needed and if anyone needs me to bring extra sleeping bags let me know as I have several.

By the way I am still leaving on Thursday night and coming home Monday afternoon sometime so it looks like I will be the first there and the last to leave
I am driving up by myself so if anyone wants extra fishing time let me know, they can ride shotgun.

dropping a line quickly, I'll be there earlier in the week...a friend of mine (Jerome) knows a Dr. Smith, who just picked up a resort and we may stay there for a bit, but I prefer to sleep in my car/tent

Now it's going to be me, my dad, and my dad's friend. Russ/Jon, which campsite should we use? Where are we going on Friday? Let me know.
Also, I know you said you didn't want to pitch in for food Russ, but if you do, just to let you know, my dad doesn't cook hamburgers and hotdogs on these trips, he cooks full on Fillet Minon with the works.
Also, I need to know how many people are going to have my dad cook for them.

Ok, I just added one more to the list. I also called Heather and she confirmed that she'll be there and is bringing the dog. This means I won't be leaving until late on Friday night and not getting there until 5 or 6am Saturday morning.
Sean - I know for sure your dad can cook for me and Heather! Just let me know how he wants to do it. Does he want to get reimbursed for food or have us bring our own and he just cooks it? Let me know. Hopefully your dad likes cooking trout!

All these dogs, girls, and people are going to add a ton to my fishing time! Since Yvonne and her friends and the dog will be there, Heather won't bug me to not fish all day since she'll be able to entertain herself!
