Trout Plants week of April 24th
Barring adverse weather, water or road conditions, the following lakes and streams, listed by county, will be restocked with catchable-size rainbow trout from the Department of Fish and Game hatcheries:
LOS ANGELES –- Castic Lake, Cuddy Creek Pond, Elizabeth Lake, Hansen Lake, Little Rock Reservoir, Piru Creek, Frenchman's Flat, Pyramid Lake. ORANGE -– Trabuco Creek. SAN DIEGO –- Doane Pond. VENTURA –- Casitas Lake , Piru Lake , Rancho Simi Park Lake , Reyes Creek, Rose Valley Lakes . SANTA BARBARA –- Cachuma Lake , Lion Canyon Creek and Santa Ynez River. SAN LUIS OBISPO –- Lopez Lake and Santa Margarita Lake. RIVERSIDE –- Fulmor Lake , Hemet Lake , Perris Lake , Strawberry Creek. SAN BERNARDINO –- Cucamonga Guasti Park Lake, Glen Helen Park Lake, Green Valley Lake, Prado Park Lake, Seccombe Park Lake, Yucaipa Lake. INYO –- Baker Creek, Big Pine Creek, Bishop Creek (Lower, Middle, Upper Fork), Bishop Creek (Intake II), Cottonwood Creek, Diaz Lake, Georges Creek, Goodale Creek, Independence Creek, Lone Pine Creek, Owens River (Laws Bridge downstream to Steward Lane and below Tinnemaha), Pleasant Valley Reservoir, Sheperds Creek, Symmes Creek, Taboose Creek, Tinnemaha Creek, Tuttle Creek. MONO –- Grant Lake , Gull Lake , June Lake , Rock Creek (Section 1 and 2), Silver Lake , Twin Lakes Bridgeport (Lower and Upper).

Looks like I will either be trying out my new toys on Trabuco creek or I may have to get Tony to take me to Lion Canyon creek or the Santa Ynez river.
