Going to Lake Mead

hey everyone,

im going to lake mead next weekend and ive never been there. i was hoping to any advice from the more experienced! ill be getting a boat from lake mead marina and targeting mostly stripers and lmb.

if anyone is willing to share any spots or tips on what to use, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

i finally get to go crazy at the bass pro shop!

if you are renting a boat, for stripers, try n get a fishfinder. if u go outa callville bay, you can see stripers around the dock. the wash is supposidly good. i fished for stripers but got skunked, cruise the shorelines, for lmb on beds. there are huge ones in the marina area, but technically you are not supposed to fish for em in the marina ...
if u get skunked, throw out some corn/worms for some awesome carp action.

i have a portable fish finder. the lake is so big, i have no idea where to start! i hope i don't get skunked, but i'll take your advice a try for the carp!
