Trout Plants - Week of April 17, 2006

Barring adverse weather, water or road conditions, the following lakes and streams, listed by county, will be restocked the week of
April 17, 2006 with catchable-size rainbow trout from the Department of Fish and Game hatcheries:
LOS ANGELES –- Alondra Park Lake, Arroyo Seco Creek, Belvedere Lake, Big Tujunga Creek (Lower), Big Tujunga Creek (Upper), Cerritos Lake, Downey Lake, Echo Park Lake, El Dorado Park Lakes, Hollenbeck Park Lake, Jackson Lake, Kenneth Hahn Lake, La Mirada Lake, Lincoln Park Lake, Magic Johnson Lake, Peck Road Park Lake, Puddingstone Lake, San Gabriel River (East and West Forks), Santa Fe Reservoir.
RIVERSIDE –- Fulmor Lake, Hemet Lake, and Perris Lake.
SAN BERNARDINO –- Arrowbear Lake, Big Bear Lake, Cucamonga Guasti Park Lake, Gregory Lake, Lytle Creek (Middle and North Forks), Miller Canyon Creek, Mojave Narrows Regional Park, Prado Park Lake, Santa Ana River, Santa Ana River (South Fork), Silverwood Lake.
SAN DIEGO –- Cuyamaca Lake and Murray Lake.
INYO –- Cottonwood Creek, Diaz Lake, Georges Creek, Independence Creek, Lone Pine Creek, Owens River (Laws Bridge downstream to Steward Lane and below Tinnemaha), Pleasant Valley Reservoir, Sheperds Creek, Symmes Creek and Tuttle Creek.

Unfortunately they will no longer be stocking OC lakes with trout it seems. Water must just be too warm. Last time I was at Yorba the water was quite warm. That just means the Sierra trout opener is just around the corner.
