This morning was super low tide...the lowest I have ever seen. Got to study the channels of the surf area how they run and where they are...lots of channels about 2 feet deep all over there. I used sand crabs, mussels, and plastic that were motor oil and red flake and motor oil. Mussels and crabs were getting eating by the smaller perch so most of my hits and catched were off the grubs today. Had a few tails bitten off so it seemed like it were perch. Walked out past the channels so that i can cast out to the surf line. I had one good hookup that cut through my leader..it could of been a small shark. lastly I was talking to a guy that makes his own grubs and his friend caught a 22inch Halibut a few days ago here. Seen a picture of him with a nice size corbina that he caught. It was a pleasant peaceful day...caught small perch with the super low tide. However it was a good day to get out and fish...no seaweed or redtide just a little wind. Sorry forgot my camera and yes does it feel good to get that skunk off me...lol
