Talking Suggestion for Irvine lake

Hey quick suggestion. I think it would be a valued service as well as possibly help your bottom line.

Between 2-4pm, or more hours if you choose, but 2-4 for a starter run, offer fish cleaning services for say $1.00 a fish. With everyone coming back to the dock around those times this would be an invaluable service. I know that at the end of the day I don't feel like cleaning my fish and would gladly pay to have my trout/catfish filleted. I know this may sound lazy, but the sport boats do it and would say 90% of the people on the boats pay for this service. Also since Irvine is more of a family place it adds that bit of full service feeling. As well, all you would really need to cover your expenses (wage) would be a couple of limits an hour. Trust me that would be EASILY done. Also you can than keep control over limits. You will see, with the people getting their fish filleted, how many they actually kept. This may facilitate more second limits. I personally always buy one, but always notice it seems to be a VERY rare occurence as they are usually hidden and dusty

Any thoughts on something like this?

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

James

That's a good idea. I'd pay for fish cleaning too. Another idea we talked about yesterday was a shuttle service for float tubers who want to fish the other side of the lake like sierra cove, but don't want to kick all the way over.

That would be a good idea. They have a pontoon boat that would be perfect for that.

Well, instead of taking my ideas to stay a float as it were, they are tearing down the trees and the wildlife so more rich people can live around a lake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I had 50 mil. I would buy Irvine lake, close it down to the public and only let me friends come fish it lol I would also dredge it, knock more of the mountains out and make it at least 80 feet deep in parts so that trout could survive the summer. I would include soem bubblers too that would be fastened to the bottom in the deep areas. Would be great to keep the alive. Can you imagine holdover trout at the vine! ah but its all just a pipe dream
