Sierras May 20-23

I'm planning a trip to the sierras next month and I need some advice on where to stay and where to fish. Any suggestions? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Wahoo, I'm not familiar with the Sierras, but I know someone who does: Frank Murata. If you want, i can ask him for you, and mabye he can give me some advice for you. Give me some more details on around where you are planning to go, what species you are targeting, fly fishing or regular fishing, etc.

Any where in the Bishop creek drainage has very good fishing, if your looking for easy hook ups try the pipe on the dam at "Intake 2".(also a good place to float tube) Some of my best days have been there or on the South fork of Bishop creek...salmon eggs or mini jigs are what I use the most. Stop at "Culver's sporting goods" in Bishop and buy some "Twistons" for fishing the eggs, you will never use splitshots again.

Go to www.bishopvisitor.com for a list of motels and hotels and a list of area waters and a catch report. You can also visit www.rainbowtrout.com for a report and a list of area waters with driving directions.
