d.) Each Field Judge will posses a clip board with an official log sheet containing the name and assigned competition number of each competing angler. All Field Judges log sheets will be totaled during the "Weigh-In" portion of the competition.

e.) Please be as patient as possible when signaling down a Field Judge to assist you in you measurment. If a participating angler is caught being assisted in this manner, their current largest measured and logged fish will be stricken from their catch records, as well as, the fish in violation will not be allowed to be measured or logged either.

Ten 4" fish beats one 39" fish......interesting concept.

FYI. The parking lots at BC State Beach officially open at 6:00am...Might be good for those arriving earlier to know.

It's actually the only way to do it fairly in terms of "honor system" measurments. Using cameras is too impraticle, and there won't be enough field judges to walk around with scales to weigh everything, though it's the same concept as weighing Bass at a Bass tournament, except we're not weighing; were measuring. Same concept.

Do you plan to compete??

Tony,

I do like the concept...never thought about bass tourneys. Puts an extra twist into the competition. "Swing for the walls" or go for the base hits. I was at BC last Saturday and it was wide open on micro perch (not even a palm sized one in the bunch)....... 20 bunts in an hour.

I'm interested, but I am toying with the idea of volunteering as a judge. My son might be interested in signing up.

Randy,

If you would volunteer as a judge that would be great!! I have one confirmed Field Judge now and I would essentially like to have a bare minumum of 6. It'd be great if your son competed! How old is he?
