I had to work and wasn't able to make it. I heard that many places were slower than last year and Bishop didn't have their Rainbow Days this year. Anyway, most people I've talked to have reported decent to poor fishing. I'm hoping it gets better as we get into the season...

I was there. Fishing was realy slow for us. there was 4 of us. Friday we fished the gorge ramp. Only 3 brown and 1 rainbow, all about 10 to 12"
Saturday AM at crowly lake till afternoon. only 2 small rainbows and 1 13" brown. went back to the gorge in the evening with minimal luck.
Sunday morning at Owens N/W of bishop we had ok luck 4 browns and I landed a 14" rainbow.
left Bishop at noon. All in all it was a great time being their. we did a lot of fishing but not a lot of catching. between 4 of us we only landed 14 fish in 2 1/2 days. Alot slower then previous years.

Welcome to the board cablenut! Unfortunately, that's the kind of report I've been hearing from all that I've spoken to. I'm heading up there in may and I hope the fishing inproves. Thanks for the report.
