Barracuda 106 Sand Bass 10 Sculpin 8 Halibut 1 - 10lbs I fished the mourning half day trip on the Native Sun out of long beach Berth 55. The bite was wide open on the barracuda. They were not all legal. There was probably 1 legal fish for every 10 shorts, but it was very steady action. We started off by getting bait inside the harbor around pier 400 (in San Pedro) and we only moved about 100 yards from there the whole day. The seals were thick and were taking lots of our fish. This is the first good cuda bite I have herd about this year. So maybe things will get going soon.

I will most likely be going next Saturday either on the Native sun half day or on the City Seal Beach 3/4 day. I won’t really know witch one till I get down there. I usually go out both trips on the half day. The 1/2 day leaves at 6:30 and the 3/4 leaves at 8:00.
