Anyone have any advise for a digital camera that went for a little swim?

Actually, if you know how to take it apart, take as many pieces as you can apart and dry them out on a paper towel or something.

My Kodac digital fell overboard while I was float-tubing in the high Sierras. I fished it out with a long poled net. Figured it was dead for sure; took out the compact flash disk and all the photos on it were still good! Then I took out the batteries and opened everything that could open and left it inside to dry. After a week or so it operated when it felt like it, but the display was kind of funky...by my next trip 2 months later it acted like it never happend. Go figure!

Wow! I just received it back from Kodak in New York, and they had to replace the power board. Crazy how a little moisture will kill the power board, but completely submerging it underwater doesn't harm it! Just my luck...
