New Salmon Queen Fish Reports

Date: April 19th 2004

Report:

Well the salmon season is of to a good start, overall scores a fish per rod to
limits. Average fish 8 to 10 lbs with bigger fish in the high teens and low twentys.
Weather the last two days has been flat calm with overcast skys. Yesterday the New
Salmon Queen had 14 limits early with fish up to 12lbs. Today no salmon boats out of
Emeryville due to a bad weather report. We will be running trips durring the week
and we will start updating this page daily. Seeya at the hotspot Kurt.

Report:

Today we took our 12 passengers down the line to fish the area that they had limits
and near limits yeaterday. Trouble with fishing is that everyday is different, and
today they didnt bite at the spot just above pidgeon point...you think, too bad? so
sad? Hardly...LOL...They bit closer to home, in about 212 feet of water just below
Pillar Point Harbor. Once we got located fishing was pretty full spped. The reason?
That computer looking thingy on the dash up in the wheelhouse....If that thing had
two legs, i would marry it, she really prooved her worthiness by keeping me aware of
the movcements of a bait ball. Tracking this one baitball brought multiple hookups
as others played spectator. We got limits early up to 15 lbs. We have people for
tomorrow but need a couple more to solidify a trip.....Salmon season is here and
they're biting....see ya on the water...Shim
