I was thinking about it...It's not bad for only a $20 entry fee + the Irvine Lake gate fee. 1st place $3500!!

Yeah, that's not bad at all. I was actually thinking about going to SARL and trying to catch a lightning or thunder trout, but I might head over to Irvine instead. How much fish did they plant?

It says in WON that they are going to have a 5,000 pound plant of the Calaveras rainbows and a big stock of brook trout which some brookies will be exceeding weights of 14 pounds!! So it looks like there will be a lot to catch.

Plus Irvine is putting up $500.00 to the first angler to weigh in a Brookie over 10lbs. I dont know if anyone has cashed in on that or not yet.
