About the club

Well, the site is done, and we are now taking in new members! We still have some minor ajustments to do, but for now the main information is on there.

Here are some details about the club:

The main purpose of starting this club was to let teenagers who like to fish get outside more often, and leave all of their troubles behind. In our club, we try to go fishing as much as we can. Whether it's freshwater or saltwater, we try to wet a line whenever possible. This club was intended to be made for everyone. Even if you're a begginner, you will fit right in, because we make you feel comfortable, and help you become an expert fisherman!

If you want to join the club, please include the following information:

Name (also include your message board screen name if you have one)
Age (must be 13 or older)
Email Address (so we can contact you)

For more information, visit the club site at www.geocities.com/hookupfishingclub/home

Fish. Lol. No actually right now, we are trying to get more members, so if you guys can recruit some new members that would be great! Just tell them to email me (Sean) at splara@cox.net

We are gonna fish a lot more this summer, and ive already planned fishing on piers like balboa, newport, and san clemente. Also, charter boats, freshwater lakes, etc. I have already planned a float tubing get together at LNL for catfish if anyone wants to come. Not sure of the date yet. Bobbie Mendoza told me they are stocking it on May 31 with catfish.

As for fishing get togehter dates, i will post them in this forum, so be sure to check it every once and a while. Thanks, and tight lines!

it seems like i live pretty far from you. i have a friend who im getting into fishing, he has fished twice but i'll try to get him to join.

Hopefully i can learn a lot from you guys.

finally, plan some stuff near me, like Hermosa Pier, Castaic Lagoon, Puddingstone. the charters would be awsome though.

Yea we do live pretty far away, but if there are members near you, you can also plan a trip. Just make sure you let me know about it. Im planning at trip to San Clemente Pier next weekend if you can make it. It would be a great opportunity to meet the members!!
