Journals
We have installed a Journal feature on the site now. It's ready to go and you can start creating your own journals. The journals will be great for posting follow up information to your fishing reports if you don't want to give out detailed information. By using the journals, you can make that info available to everybody, nobody, or just the people you choose. It can also be a used as a fishing journal where you record detailed information like date, water temp, location of fish, etc... I'm sure there are tons of uses for it so let me know what you come up with. Hope you like it!
PS - Don't let the Journal replace regular fish reports!!!!!!

Nope, I just used the fishing topics as an example. The journals can be on whatever topic you want.

Understatements!!!! This site is FU%@In' Incredible and more and more every time you turn around! Excellent Jon!
By the way, if you guys don't mind me saying this; eventhough you can use the journal for any topic, what would be the point; it being on a fishing forum and all. I think it should be for fishing topics only......just my opinion. Regardless of that, I think the new journal feature is great. I'll start using it as soon as I get my ### back on the water

Good point. The reason the journal can be for any topic is because people here talk fishing on the board, then they meet up to fish, then become good friends. The interesting thing about people is that they do more in their life that just fishing (as if they really need to do something other than fish ) and this allows people to post on other topics. The journal section is basically a blog, myspace, or livejournal. You can make topics public, private, just for journal buddies, or for a specified group so you can talk about whatever you want. The journal section adds a new dimension to the site.
Anyway, hopefully you guys find it useful!
