Riding the Rapids @ Big Bear Lake 4/12/04

Trolled BBL from 11:30 till 4:30 for a really slow bite. I got one on a Silver CD5 that went about three lbs (and tasted mighty fine for dinner tonight) and two on a Rainbow CD5 that were both dinks. All three were caught around the observatory. I trolled the North Shore and Larry trolled the South Shore. Best part of the day was Larry getting skunked! LOL (Sorry Larry, couldnt resist) Trolled from the West public launch ramp all the way to the far East end past Juniper Point and back. Wind blew constantly the whole afternoon and was tuff even keeping the Pontoon going straight. This is the second time in two weeks Ive battled the white caps on BBL. Atleast it didnt start snowing on us this time. I think its time to hit the ocean where the waters a little calmer. LOL
