Which fish finder should I get?

Im looking for a fish finder for my Pontoon Boat and I dont know much about them. It needs to be fairly small and water proof. I dont want a battery operated portable. I will be powering it with my trolling motor battery. I want to mount the transducer on the trolling motor. From what I have read so far, you can mount a transom type mount on the trolling motor. Here are two that I have been looking at. Any tips would be appreciated.

Humminbird

Garmin

I'd go with the Garmin 120, looks like much better pixels, and better detail, but a little more in $$$'s.

I'm fond of Humminbird, but both are good in quality, only a difference in pixels & $$'s.

Can anyone recommend a fish finder to use with a float tube?
