Fly Fishing the American River this week!
I'm heading up to Sacramento for the week (business), but thought since I had the evenings pretty much free, I'd do a little fly fishing after work.
Since my flight gets in at 1:30 PM today, I'm going to hit American Fly Fishing CO., on Fair Oaks, buy a couple of "local" flies and scout out the area for Wednesday and Thursday evenings  I'll try to post a report when I find time!

Nice!
Looking forward to your report. I used to fish the American River in Auburn right off the I-80, they got some nice rainbows in there. Not much fishing pressure, just u and some occasional gold panners.... |
