Castaic Lagoon 3/20/04
I went to Castaic Lagoon today with Bryan and Jon. Lots of bass have moved up to the beds and it looks like the bigguns are staging right now in 20-25ft of water. It's only a matter of time now before things break wide open! We caught about 15 fish between 1 and 3.5 pounds. We were mainly bed fishing, but I caught my biggest dragging a grub up a dropoff. The fish were biting short a lot today so small baits were best. Anything with a curly tail seemed to get hit better than worms. I'm going to be back next week and hopefully some of the big fish will have moved up by then.

Yeah I would have gone too Bryan if you would have let me know sooner! Turns out I didn't have to be to work until 5pm so I could have gone...haha. Oh well that's how it goes sometimes.
