I was never against whether or not illegal immigrants should be reported. Like any other debatable topic (ie abortion and religion in school) there are valid arguments to both sides of the story.
I was however against the manner in which this person approached the issue. Was it right for him to make derogatory remaks to those of Mexican descent? Was it right for him to endanger the lives of others while driving over those bumps at that speed?
Was anyone actually reported? IMO no, but if you beg to differ that's okay because we're all entitled to our opinions.
That is where I drew the line for morality. I couldn't understand how a human being could treat another human being's life with such disrespect and hatred. Some of you guys take so much care when it comes to the life of a trout or bass, but when it comes to the life of another human being you throw all of that out of the window.
In response to CST's statement I believe that it was naive of you compare the lost of thousands of innocent lives to a person trying to feed their starving family on the same level. To what extent would our penal system go to if our legislators had the same mindset that you did?
Again just MO.
