ALL DAY OF THIS CAN KILL A MAN!!!!

Thurs. 6-16-05, As the old saying goes,"what a difference a day can make"!! We left the dock today with Greg White and his two sons Gavin and Garrett, along with their friend Bob Gerlach and his son Henry. We were on a 5 hour fishing trip so we started along the beach Spanish Mackeral fishing. the action was hot enough that we were regularly having doubles and triples hooked up. It was happening fast enough that it didn't take long to get "boring". We had a load of Spanish in short order when someone said, "Let's go try some bottomfishing" well being on a short day that put the pressure on me. I replied, you know I have a spot about 10 miles from here that has been real productive for several years, but this spring it hasn't been doing much but it should be, It's a shot in the dark, but if you are willing we will try it. Sure, let's go! We went and the fish were stacked!!!! Capt. Chris was watching the color scope and replied " They're back!!! And they were, we had two hours left to fish and these guys liked to worked Capt. Chris to a frazzle!!! It was fun guys, where else can you get a 48 quart cooler full of fillets on a 1/2 day fishing trip!!!
